Mark Officer from Jaz Realty meets Jennifer from Concept Photography – Turning Pets into Art
At the Yandina Street Fair on Sunday, I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with Jennifer from Concept Photography—and what an inspiring story she has to share!
Jennifer has been behind the camera for over 15 years, which was ignited when she was travelling. The passion for pet photography first began in Darwin. Her journey started with horses, combining her love of animals and photography into something truly unique. Since then, she has brought her talent to the Sunshine Coast, where she continues to create stunning, storytelling portraits of pets that capture not only their beauty but their personalities, too.
What sets Jennifer apart is the way she transforms pets into artworks—pieces that tell a story, celebrate a bond, and last a lifetime. She explained how much joy she finds in connecting with both animals and their people, creating a relaxed and genuine experience.
Jennifer’s studio is nestled in Black Mountain, where clients can bring their pets for a session, though she always adapts to what works best for each family. Whether it’s a dog, horse, or furry friend of any kind, Jennifer has a gift for bringing out their spirit in every image.
It was such a delight meeting Jennifer and learning about her journey. If you’re looking for photography that goes beyond a picture and becomes a heartfelt memory, be sure to check out Concept Photography.
