Local Business Spotlight | Three Peaks Gym, Nambour

Hi, this is Mark Officer from Jaz Realty, and today I had the privilege of sitting down with the owners of Three Peaks Gym in Nambour — Lacey, Sam and Fletch. What started as a conversation about fitness quickly became a powerful story about community, belonging, and people power.

Why Three Peaks Gym?

For Lacey and Sam, the journey began when they realised nothing quite fit — no workplace, no gym, no environment that aligned with how they wanted to train, coach and live.
So they took a leap of faith.
• Lacey shared that they wanted a space where they could train their way and coach with purpose.
• Sam saw a clear gap in the market — not just for another gym, but for a community-based space that genuinely served people.

Why Nambour?

Sam didn’t hesitate when asked what he loves most about owning a business here:
“The community. There’s never a dull day.”
Teachers, nurses, firefighters, parents — people from all walks of life walk through the doors. Three Peaks isn’t just a gym; it’s a place where people feel welcome, challenged and supported through both good times and hard times.
For Lacey, this is personal. She grew up locally, went to Nambour High, and proudly calls this place home.

A Vision Bigger Than Four Walls

The team is passionate about revitalising Nambour — bringing energy back to the main street and investing in health and wellness.
• This isn’t a 24/7 anonymous gym.
• It’s a true community hub, where people train together, support local businesses and build real connections.
As Fletch put it, supporting local means keeping energy, vibe and purpose alive in town.

Community Beyond the Gym

What really stood out is how deeply embedded Three Peaks is in the community:
• Supporting Nambour Park Run
• Volunteering at events like Blackall 100 (with one of the most memorable support tents at the 73km mark!)
• Giving back through charity openings, including Meals on Wheels and first responder charities
• Preparing to support upcoming ultra events like Glasshouse Standing
• Future plans focused on youth programs and local causes
Sam summed it up perfectly:
“This isn’t just our work — this is our life.”

Built by the People, for the People

One of the most powerful moments was hearing how the gym itself came to life.
• Members painted walls
• Members poured concrete
• Members built the space
Around 30 members helped physically build the gym — and now train in it. That sense of ownership, pride and belonging is rare and incredibly special.

The Biggest Lesson?

People power.

Nothing about Three Peaks happened alone. It was built on trust, relationships, consistency and shared passion. What started as an empty shed has grown — and continues to grow — because people believe in it.

More Than Fitness

At its core, Three Peaks Gym is about becoming a stronger human — mentally, physically and emotionally.

Their values say it all:
Endurance. Strength. Unity.
This is a place where:
• You’re supported on hard days
• Someone has your back outside the gym
• Community extends beyond workouts and walls
As Sam said:
“You can get programs online, but you can’t download community.”

Final Word

Three Peaks Gym is proof that when you focus on people, abundance follows — not competition. They even support other gyms across the region, believing there’s room for everyone to thrive.
If you’re in Nambour and looking for more than just a gym — a place where you belong — come and try Three Peaks Gym. You’ll quickly see it’s not just about lifting weights… It’s about lifting each other.
Proud to spotlight businesses like this that make our community stronger.
