68 Years of Memories by the Sea…

By in Uncategorized

For almost 70 years, one beachside property has been part of a family’s story.

Back in 1958, when Currimundi was little more than bushland, dirt tracks and a favourite spot for weekend adventures, a Brisbane family purchased a 607sqm north-facing block at Gothic Parade.

At first, it was simply a place for camping, fishing and escaping to the coast.

Then, in 1970, the family built the humble beach shack that still stands today.

And now, after 68 years, the property is entering a new chapter.

Just metres from Ballinger Beach and Currimundi Lake, it is a wonderful reminder of how much this beautiful coastal pocket has changed — while still holding onto a little of its old-school beachside charm.

The property is zoned medium density, offering its next owner a range of possibilities for the future.

But perhaps the most special thing about it is the story it carries.

From camping trips among the bushland and dirt tracks of the 1950s, to the much-loved coastal destination Currimundi is today…

68 years – one family and countless memories. Now a new chapter waiting to be written.
